Terms of Service

1. Who you are agreeing with
Stabilibuddy is operated by ChillyPixel LLC ("we", "us"). These terms are the agreement between you and ChillyPixel LLC for your use of Stabilibuddy. By creating an account you agree to them.
2. What Stabilibuddy is — and what it is not
Stabilibuddy is a tool for keeping a record of what you log: mood, symptoms, sleep, and the medications you take. It draws that record back to you as calendars and summaries, and it can generate a written summary of what you logged using an AI model.
This is not a diagnosis.
Stabilibuddy is not a medical device, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. It does not replace care from a doctor or therapist. Nothing it shows you should be used to start, stop or change a medication. The summaries it generates come from an AI model and can be wrong.
We are not watching your entries. We do not monitor what you log. No one is alerted and no one will intervene because of something you record here — not us, not a clinician, not an emergency service. If you are in danger, nothing in this app will bring help; the resources below will.
"We" is doing real work in that sentence, so here is the rest of it. If you have turned on Include my notes in AI forecasts and sleep insights (it is off unless you do), then when you ask for a forecast or a sleep insight, every note you have written is included in what the app sends to the AI service, including notes about a crisis or an emergency. Microsoft stores what we send in order to detect misuse of that service, and content it flags can be read by one of its reviewers.
Put together: with that setting on, a note about being in trouble leaves this app, and once it has, a person at Microsoft may read it. Nobody is reading it to check on you, no alert is raised, and nothing happens because of it — that is not a safety net and must not be relied on as one. Our Privacy Policy describes the whole flow.
3. Who may use it
You must be 18 or older to use Stabilibuddy, and it is offered only to people in the United States. Access is currently by invitation. You may not create an account on behalf of someone else.
4. Your account
Keep your password to yourself and tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to your account. You are responsible for what happens under it. Give us an email address you actually read — it is how we reach you about your account, and how you recover it.
5. What you log stays yours
What you record in Stabilibuddy belongs to you. You give us only the permission we need in order to run the service for you: to store what you log, show it back to you, generate the summaries you ask for, and send it to the third parties listed in our Privacy Policy for those purposes.
We do not sell what you log, and we do not use it to advertise to you. We do not use it to train AI models. Microsoft, which operates the AI service we send your summaries through, states that prompts and responses are not available to OpenAI and are not used to train its models — our Privacy Policy describes that flow in detail, including the part of it we cannot switch off.
6. Sharing with someone else
You can choose to give another person — a clinician, or someone you trust — read-only access to your account, and you can withdraw that access at any time. Nothing is shared until you set it up, and we never share your record with anyone on your behalf.
7. Using it reasonably
Do not try to break into other people's accounts, interfere with the service or the systems behind it, or use it to store data about someone who has not agreed to it. Do not attempt to re-identify anyone from any data you encounter.
8. Availability
We do not promise that Stabilibuddy will be available at any particular time, and we may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely we will give you notice and a chance to retrieve what you logged.
9. No warranty
Stabilibuddy is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that anything it generates is accurate.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ChillyPixel LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of your use of Stabilibuddy. Our total liability for any claim relating to Stabilibuddy will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, in which case they apply to you only as far as that jurisdiction permits.
11. Ending your use
You can delete your data or your whole account at any time from Manage Your Data. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms. If your account ends, what you logged is deleted — see the Privacy Policy for what that covers.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will tell you before it takes effect and ask you to agree to the new version. The effective date at the top of this page tells you which version you are reading.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
